Benefits of Membership
You can become a Protected Lifetime Member™ of the SouthCare Cremation Society with a one-time membership fee of $25 for one person or $30 for a couple.
Membership requires the following forms:
- Vital Statistics Form: This provides our funeral directors with the information required to file the death certificate.
- Planning Form: This allows you to express your memorial plans and wishes, which our staff will give to your survivors at the time of death. SouthCare maintains the document in a secure, fireproof environment until it is needed.
Once the membership process is complete, you will be provided with two SouthCare Cremation Society member identification cards which identify you as a Protected Lifetime Member™. One card is to be kept with you and the other to be given to the person who will be in charge of implementing your wishes.
Members also receive:
- A $400 discount off the price of cremation services. The current non-member cost of cremation is $1,295, so the discounted Protected Lifetime Member™ price for cremation is $895. As the cost of cremation increases, Protected Lifetime Members will always receive a $400 discount off the non-member pricing at the time of need.
